{about ordering}

Payment, Shipping and Handling

Mohop shoes are individually handmade at the time of your order, and your credit card or paypal account will be charged at the time you place your order. The typical wait time for your shoes to be crafted from scratch is listed in each product description. Please contact us if you need shoes faster for a special event!  

We ship to many countries worldwide - if you don't see your country listed, please contact us! Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and reflect the actual cost of delivery by your chosen carrier from our workshop in Chicago. Tracking and insurance is included in the shipping rate except for US mail first-class services. Once your order ships, you will receive an automated e-mail from your chosen carrier with tracking information (unless you've chosen US first-class mail). 

Ribbon/accessory orders without shoes are shipped worlwide via first-class mail for a flat rate of $5, without tracking information (unless requested otherwise, for an additional fee).

US Footwear Deliveries

You may choose US Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express, UPS Ground or UPS Next Day Air. AFTER your shoes are made from scratch (please refer to the product descriptions for current lead times), Priority Mail typically takes 2-3 business days; Priority Express 1-2 business days; UPS Ground 2-6 business days; UPS Next Day Air 1 business day. 

International Footwear Deliveries

You may choose US First-Class (which does not provide tracking and may take a couple weeks), US Priority Mail (6-10 business days), or US Priority Mail Express International (3-5 business days). Shipment times are in addition to the current production times that are listed in the product descriptions. Please note, there is some variation between which services are available to which country, and there may be further delays at customs or due to other circumstances beyond Mohop's control. Please contact us if you'd like to use a carrier other than the US Postal Service -  although we've found it's the best option for avoiding surprise "brokerage fees". Your country may charge additional taxes, handling fees and import duties that you will be responsible for, and that Mohop unfortunately has no control over. Please check with your local post office for further information. 



Repairs and returns

Unworn Mohop shoes can be returned FOR ANY REASON for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of the arrival of your shipment. Please try on your shoes on a clean indoor floor - shoes showing wear-and-tear cannot be accepted for return/exchange. Any defects in workmanship will be repaired free-of-charge within one year of purchase (i.e., if something has broken or is threatening to break); shoes showing regular wear-and-tear may be shipped back to Mohop for refurbishment.
